Francesco Bagnaia had a full schedule of work during yesterday’s MotoGP test at Misano. The Ducati rider evaluated components intended to enhance the bike for the following year in addition to concentrating on solutions for the approaching races.
The winner of 2022 and 2023 remarked, “I worked very hard for 2025.” Although I know that [Jorge] Martín and [Enea] Bestia tried the fairing and were pleased with it, I didn’t try it. However, I was incredibly preoccupied with other matters because our bike still needs improvement.
Despite not being ready for competition just yet, Bagnaia expressed excitement: “Unfortunately, we can’t bring it already this season because they still need to develop a bit—I’m talking about the electronics side.” Nonetheless, it’s a positive thing; I believe we have more room to manoeuvre given the acceleration.
Nevertheless, the Italian leaves open potential upgrades for the next races in Asia, saying, “It was difficult to understand something in the test, because the lap time was similar with used or new tyres.” However, I thought it was a good thing and enjoyed it. Perhaps we will have something to assist for the upcoming events overseas.
