The Yankees’ next game against the Angels is scheduled for Wednesday, has been suspended indefinitely due to weather.

The weather prediction for Tuesday called for persistent bad weather, so the first game of the three-game series in The Bronx was postponed.

Rather, on Wednesday, the teams will play a doubleheader, with the first game commencing at 4:05 p.m. and the second game not to begin before 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for Tuesday night will not be valid for entry on Wednesday, but can be exchanged for a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees will be off for the second consecutive night after defeating the Blue Jays 4-3 on Sunday courtesy to a walk-off single by DJ LeMahieu in extra innings.

Although they have a 29-24 record at home this season, the Yankees are tied for first place in the AL East with the rival Orioles going into Tuesday’s play.

With a 49-63 record and a four-game deficit to the fourth and final AL wild-card berth, the Angels appeared doomed to finish below.500 for the seventh consecutive season and miss the playoffs for the tenth time in a row. They currently sit fourth in the AL West.

They remain without perennial MVP candidate Mike Trout, who announced last Thursday that his season is over with a meniscus tear.
