Ohio state football stadium is burning right now…….

As of March 4, 2025, there are no reports of the Ohio Stadium, commonly known as the Horseshoe, being on fire. However, on January 20, 2025, following the Ohio State Buckeyes’ victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the College Football Playoff National Championship, several incidents occurred that drew significant attention.

Celebrations erupted around Ohio State University’s campus, with students taking to the streets in jubilant displays. In the aftermath of the game, multiple couches were set ablaze near the campus. For instance, at the corner of North High Street and 9th Avenue, a piece of furniture caught fire just after midnight, prompting a swift response from Columbus firefighters who extinguished the flames promptly.

Another incident occurred at the corner of Indianola Avenue and Lane Avenue after 1 a.m., where a couch and ottoman were set on fire. Overall, public safety officials responded to seven separate couch fires that night.

Additionally, a group of fans managed to enter Ohio Stadium, the university’s football venue, after police allowed them in as a crowd control measure. At its peak, the field saw a few hundred revelers. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or arrests related to these celebrations.

These events highlight the passionate and sometimes unruly celebrations that can accompany major sports victories. It’s essential for fans to express their enthusiasm responsibly to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.
