A loss in the divisional round has prevented the Buffalo Bills from making it to the postseason in each of the last three seasons. It is obvious that the Bills need to take action in order to go past that specific barrier.
Although the Bills still have a talented team, they would have a better chance of winning the Super Bowl if they could complete the trade that Touchdown Wire’s Jarrett Bailey suggested, which would send wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk of the San Francisco 49ers to Buffalo in exchange for a 2024 first-round pick and a 2025 second-round pick.
Aiyuk would take over as the team’s top receiver and provide the Bills with the actual weaponry they need at the position. As he went through his own slump, Stefon Diggs appeared to be losing ground towards the end. Diggs did not have another performance like that for the remainder of the season; instead, he had six games with four or fewer catches and seven games with fewer than fifty yards receiving after having five 100-yard performances in the first six weeks of the season.
The 49ers would receive two late selections in the first round if the Bills, who currently hold the No. 28 pick in the NFL Draft, traded that pick to them in exchange for Aiyuk. The 49ers receive the No. 31 overall choice in the draft since they finished second in the 2023 NFL season.
In such a suggestion, the Buffalo Bills wouldn’t be such a bad choice for Aiyuk, given that Josh Allen is an excellent quarterback for Buffalo. The Bills finished 10th in passing yards per game (238.4) and sixth in points scored per game (26.6) in the 2023 NFL.

The 49ers All-Pro is considered a “bold” candidate following their heartbreaking Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs.
In the offseason, the front office of the San Francisco 49ers will have their hands full. After their devastating Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the team will undoubtedly undergo change. Ahead of the upcoming season, the Niners probably want to add some new players; therefore, some players might be heading out.
Kyle Juszczyk, a fullback, is one individual who might find himself on the outside looking in.
With a crucial offseason ahead of them, Rohan Chakravarthi of Niners Nation has compiled a list of possible cut candidates for San Francisco. With an eye on next month’s free agency, this team will probably need to clear some cap space.
Chakravarthi contends that, in terms of probable summer injuries for the 49ers, Juszczyk is the “boldest alternative.”
Juszczyk recently finished the third season of a $27 million, five-year contract. The Niners may be able to get out of this agreement, though, because his contract was written so that the guaranteed money was distributed within the first three years.
“Juszczyk’s release would let the 49ers free up $4.91 million in cap space, which may be used for future free agent acquisitions.
“Saving the five million would be a realistic alternative for San Francisco, since the 49ers will have certain needs in free agency and also need to account for extra money via the draft with their first and second-round picks. San Francisco will be faced with significant salary-cap decisions this offseason,” Chakravarthi wrote.
