After sharing the results of his COVID test, Noah Lyles sparks controversy by filming himself partying in a Paris nightclub.
A contentious figure during the Paris Olympics was Lyles.
Noah Lyles overcame COVID-19AP and Instagram to win a silver medal in the 200m.
Noah Lyles has been traveling for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. He now finds himself perceived by many fans as the antagonist after the high of his gold medal heroics and the low of his collapse in the 200-meter final. This video, which shows him having fun at a Paris nightclub, won’t help his situation.
Shortly after sharing a negative COVID test result, Lyles went to Paris’ L’Arc Club to celebrate the gold medal win by Team USA in basketball. What was the problem, though, when he was declared healthy?
Noah Lyles’s Olympic Scandal
A user on X, formerly Twitter, wrote, “Noah Lesles didn’t have Covid when he won the 100 but suddenly did after he lost the 200 Now he’s in the club dancing, lol, im weeping.”
Many people appeared to take offense at his grandiose Olympic arc. Even though he was as arrogant as ever after winning gold in the 100 meters, he and his mother chose to play the victim during his surprising 200-meter performance.
In addition, there was the uproar around his infamous “world champion” comments, which led to conflict with numerous Team USA basketball players and resulted in a sarcastic social media message from USA Basketball following their crushing of France in the gold medal game.
Similar to his COVID-19 diagnosis, those issues also didn’t appear to last. He celebrated Team USA’s victory as Olympic champions on Saturday night in Paris with unexpected haste. But first, he posted a picture of his negative COVID test to Instagram to let his 1.5 million followers know he was clear.
A popular post on X with the video claimed, “dude dropped the negative Covid test on his page so he can go party and nobody look at him odd.”
Crazy Parisian evening
There were other people in hot water at L’Arc Paris that evening besides Lyles.LeBron James faced criticism for his harsh behavior towards a young fan, the cops harassed Stephen Curry’s family, and Jake Paul even attended the celebration before tripping and nearly falling onto the concrete.
