News: Novak Djokovic will strike back after…

Novak Djokovic will retaliate following an “overreaction” to his passing.

Former world No. 1 Laura Robson, who backed Novak Djokovic to win another title, thinks there has been an overreaction to the Serbian’s loss to Jannik Sinner at the Australian Open.

Following his loss in Melbourne last month in the semi-final, some pundits speculated that Djokovic’s reign as the top player in men’s tennis may be drawing to an end.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion, however, has shown he is prepared to recover by registering for the Indian Wells Masters tournament the following month. A week later, he may potentially participate in Miami.

Although Djokovic has said that he will play a reduced schedule in 2024, concentrating on Grand Slams and his pursuit of an Olympic gold medal in Paris, Robson thinks his return to Indian Wells after a hiatus is proof that his drive is still burning strong.

“At the launch event for the new Sky Sports Tennis channel, Robson told Tennis365 in an exclusive interview that there has been an overreaction to one defeat for Djokovic.”

It’s not like he lost in the first or second round; he still made it to the point in Australia where he was vying for the crown.

Additionally, he was defeated by Jannik Sinner, who is currently playing exceptionally well. I have no concerns whatsoever about Novak Djokovic.

Since Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have won two of the last three Grand Slam championships, it seems as though they are posing a danger to Djokovic’s reign as the best player in men’s tennis.

However, Robson believes that Djokovic, 36, will welcome the arrival of fresh competitors as he searches for fresh inspiration in the latter stages of his extraordinary career.

Part of the new Sky Sports Tennis channel is Laura Robson.

Robson continued, “He’ll probably see this as a new challenge.”

He’s been winning everything for a very long time, and now he’s facing challenges every week from players like Sinner and Alcaraz.

I’m thrilled he’s in Miami and Indian Wells; he’ll probably play a little more than he has in the past.
Although he has stated that he dislikes spending too much time away from his family, it is encouraging that he is committing to compete in Masters-class events. The fact that he continues to take it very seriously may not be a positive omen for the other players.

Examine his past performance. That indicates that he is the favorite in every tournament that he joins until he retires.

When asked about Sinner and Alcaraz, Djokovic reiterated Robson’s opinions, saying that when his time at the top ends, the future of the game is safe in their hands.

Djokovic states, The generation of Sinner, Alcaraz, and (Holger) Rune is really strong.

Since all three of them are at the pinnacle of their respective sports, they are most likely the ones who will lead this one both now and in the future.

It goes without saying that young players should be driven, eager, and always seeking methods to get stronger, faster, and better in order to defeat the greatest players in the world and win some of the largest trophies in the game.
