The Ohio State football team is still bringing in top talent for their recruiting class. This 2025 recruiting class is beginning to take shape as well, with the 2024 class, presently ranked No. 3 in the country by 247Sports, coming to an end next week.
There are currently seven students in the class and counting. Leading this class are four-star in-state quarterback Tavien St. Clair and other key prospects in critical need spots. The quarterback room at Ohio State will undoubtedly see significant change over the course of the upcoming season, beginning with St. Clair, and at least two players will probably transfer out. In addition to being a fun developmental player for Ryan Day and Bill O’Brien to work with, St. Clair will help lessen the pain a little

Last Monday, Toledo native and top-40 national talent Carter Lowe committed to Ohio State and Justin Frye, filling a huge need. Recruiting clearly needs offensive tackles, and Frye went out and signed one of the top players in the nation for the 2025 class.
Devin Sanchez, a five-star cornerback from Houston, Texas, is another outstanding player for Ohio State and among the best in the nation overall. Tim Walton’s decision to travel to Texas in order to recruit this young man is noteworthy, and as a top prospect, he is a vital part of the class of 2025.
However, more information about this class should start to surface as some extremely important players, such as four-star tight end Nate Roberts, five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord, and four-star running back Bo Jackson, whom Ohio State is targeting, may begin to commit. Any moment now, all might make a verbal commitment to Ohio State.
