Latest Sooners News: Oklahoma secures commitment from another top defensive back for 2025.

The Oklahoma Sooners have bolstered their defensive backfield for the 2025 season with the commitment of four-star safety Omarion Robinson. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 171 pounds, Robinson hails from Little Rock, Arkansas, and is ranked as the No. 26 safety nationally and the No. 2 player in Arkansas for the 2025 class.

Robinson’s commitment adds to a strong defensive back class for Oklahoma, which includes four-star prospects Marcus Wimberly and Trynae Washington, as well as three-star safety Courtland Guillory. The class also features cornerbacks Trystan Haines and Maliek Hawkins, the latter being the brother of OU freshman quarterback Michael Hawkins.

Head coach Brent Venables has expressed confidence in this group, noting their potential to make an immediate impact.
