This Friday, September 6, 2024, game will mark the first Friday night of Week 1 in more than 50 years for the NFL (Cardinals vs. Rams, Sept. 18, 1970).
According to a press release, Goodell stated, This historic first international game in South America underscores the continuous development of our global reach.

The NFL declared in December of last year that it would hold a regular-season match in Brazil in 2024.
The venue, Corinthians Arena, has played host to several major athletic events, including six FIFA Men’s World Cup matches in 2014.
