In the event that Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles decides to stop his career, NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal offered some insightful counsel.

Although Kelce has not yet decided whether to retire, Shaq is well aware that this is a decision that will eventually affect all players. Having said that, the legend of the Los Angeles Lakers ensured that the Eagles star is prepared for whatever happens, whether it is now or in the future.

Shaquille O’Neal’s Advice to Eagles’ Jason Kelce

In an interview with Kelce on the most recent episode of The Big Podcast, O’Neal advised him to enjoy retirement to the fullest extent possible.

The NBA legend said that Kelce, who plays for the Eagles, should make time for his family because he is a family man. Using himself as an example, O’Neal emphasized how many mistakes he made and how he neglected his family.

O’Neal wants Kelce to accept his advice and not make the same mistakes twice.

According to O’Neal, via The Spun, “my advice to you is if you are going to retire, accept it and enjoy your family brother.”

“I lost my family and had no one because of a number of stupid things I made. For you, that is not the case. Enjoy your lovely wife, then. Never think back on what we had and instead enjoy your lovely children. We received what we had. The ring is yours. People are aware of your identity. Have fun. Because, once more, I was a fool, and I have discussed it extensively. My entire family was lost. I live alone in a 100,000 square foot house.

That is undoubtedly wise counsel from O’Neal. He undoubtedly regrets things in his own life, and he doesn’t want Kelce to go through what he did.

What Will Jason Kelce Do With Philadelphia Eagles?

As previously stated, Jason Kelce has not made a decision on his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

After their season concluded, there were speculations that Kelce was going to retire, but he has since denied them and stated that he hasn’t made up his mind. I mean, who would want to make such a drastic decision while they are feeling so angry or upset?

Additionally, Kelce recently made hints that he wasn’t sure if he would make a comeback. Kelce recently said that he’s attempting to in response to a fan who urged him not to retire.

In the NFL, though, Kelce will undoubtedly be remembered with affection no matter what he chooses to accomplish.
