The Rangers manager, Philippe Clement, has announced that Leon Balogun sustained an injury during the team’s Sunday home victory over Kilmarnock.

Following the interval, Ben Davies replaced Balogun, who had played a strong first half.

Following the match, Clement disclosed that the Nigerian international had suffered a muscular injury.

“Yes, Balogun was hurt, which is why I had to find a replacement for him. Rangers Review cited Clement as saying, “I hope it’s a small muscle injury.”

“We’ll find out in the coming days. But his struggles were too great to bear.

In the current league season, the 35-year-old has made 14 appearances for the Light Blues.
