One of the most well-known and valued track and field athletes in the world is Sha’Carri Richardson.

The rumour that she signed a five-year, $25 million contract with Nike, however, is unfounded despite going viral on social media and the internet.

With the first sensor-enabled performance running track in the world, Feldspar is redefining the track industry.

Although the claim has been making the rounds, the original source is actually EquityAtlas.org (which we are not linking to directly to support its actions). In an undated article titled “Sha’Carri Richardson Nike Deal Worth,” the site claims that Richardson signed a $20 million, five-year contract with Nike.

However, the Sha’Carri news spread to other websites, and soon it was being circulated online as reality.

Sha’Carri Does Have a New Agent

Last week, there was a factual advancement in Sha’Carri’s career endeavours. She moved agencies. HSI, Inc., under the direction of managing director Emile Hudson, is currently her agent. Among many other people, Hudson represents Christian Coleman and Michael Norman. Previously, former hurdler and NFL standout Ronaldo Nehemiah represented Sha’Carri.

Though there is no proof that Sha’Carri recently secured a $20 million contract with Nike, she is worth millions to businesses.
