American gymnast Simone Biles has officially become the most decorated gymnast in history after winning two gold medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Her total now stands at nine.
Her spouse, NFL player Jonathan Owens, is supporting her. There are currently circulating rumours that Simone is expecting their first child.
Is Simone Biles pregnant?
Yes, Simone Biles is pregnant. The rumor all started when a tweet on X went viral that read, “Still can’t get over the fact that Simone Biles did all of that while being injured AND pregnant! A true GOAT indeed.”
When a follower asked if this was true, the account responded, “Yup, she announced it during one of her interviews this morning!”
Though Simone would not be the first Olympian to compete while pregnant, no such interview occurred, and she has not made her pregnancy public.
During the Olympics, Simone did come clean about having “baby Botox” on TikTok. She told supporters, “This is a funny story for you guys: For my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like baby Botox.” I haven’t gotten it again because I didn’t enjoy it.”
Does Simone Biles want kids?
Although Simone is not pregnant right now, she has mentioned that she and her husband hope to have children in the future.
During a Q&A on social media, Simone said to a fan, “Yes, we want kids,” according to Sportsskeeda. “Jonathan would say three is the ideal number, and I would say two. I’d rather not be outnumbered, haha.”
While having children is in their future plans, Jonathan also stated in a different interview on The Pivot Podcast that Simone’s work must come first, telling the presenters, “I got to let my baby handle herself first.”
Simone is currently relishing her role as an aunt following her brother Ron Biles’s November 2022 birth of his daughter Ronni.
