For a very good reason, Simone Biles did not attend her husband Jonathan Owens’ Sunday Night Football game in Houston, Texas.
On Sunday, September 15, Biles, 27, shared on Instagram that the gymnast started the Gold Over America tour in Oceanside, California, as Owens, 29, and his Chicago Bears colleagues played the Houston Texans in the Lone Star State.
The world’s top gymnasts get together on this national tour to meet and motivate the next generation of gymnasts around the nation. The tour began on Sunday.
The most decorated Olympic gymnast in history, Biles, expressed her enthusiasm for the tour on Instagram.

Given that Spring, Texas, is just 40 minutes away from the Texans’ home field in Houston, Biles’ absence was all the more notable. She even started the 2017 season as the first honorary cheerleader for the Texans.
As the NFL season gets underway, Biles, who won eleven gold at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris last month, has shown her unwavering support for Owens. Biles paid tribute to her husband on her Instagram Story during the first round, which saw Owens make his Bears debut against the Tennessee Titans and score his first touchdown of the year.
