Clark’s destinations?
Clark will headline the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Draft class on Monday, as the Iowa guard and likely first overall choice begins the next phase of her career with the Indiana Fever.
If everything goes as planned, Clark will join last year’s unanimous Rookie of the Year, Aliyah Boston, in a quest to resurrect the Fever, who have not won a season since 2015.
The Los Angeles Sparks will have two picks in the top five, at two and four, with an excess of riches to choose from at the Brooklyn event.
Cameron Brink of Stanford might bring tremendous shot-blocking abilities to a struggling Sparks club that finished 17-23 last season.
