I am writing today with a heavy heart to announce that I will not be playing again due to my current condition. After careful consideration and discussions with my medical team, it has become clear that stepping away from the game is the best decision for my health and well-being.
This decision was not made lightly, and I want to thank my fans, teammates, and the entire organization for their unwavering support throughout my career. Basketball has always been a huge part of my life, but at this moment, my focus needs to shift to taking care of myself.
Additionally, I am going through a personal challenge as my husband and I are in the process of a divorce. This has been an incredibly difficult time for me, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding and respect for my privacy.
While this is the end of my playing career, I remain committed to the sport I love in other capacities. I will continue to support my team and be involved in the community.
