Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have reunited, saying, “She is my person.”
Speaking to Greek media prior to Roland Garros, Tsitsipas confirmed that the couple had reignited their romance, three weeks after Badosa had declared their breakup.

Days before this week’s clay-court major got underway, Tsitsipas, the 2022 Roland Garros men’s finalist, confirmed the reunion with Greek news site SDNA.
Rumors of a potential reunion between the couple began to circulate after Badosa posted a statement on social media announcing the end of their nearly one-year romance. The couple had been seen holding hands in Monte Carlo and having dinner together in Paris.
Just three weeks ago, Badosa posted on social media, saying, “We have shared a journey filled with love and learning, and it is as friends with enormous mutual respect that we now chose to move forward on our own paths.
“At the Intenazionali BNL d’Italia, she subsequently told tennis.com’s David Kane that Tsitsipas might have been the “right person… [at] the wrong moment.”
Tsitsipas disclosed to reporter Vicky Georgatou that he was the one who decided to end things at first, but that after some thought, he came to appreciate the unique romance he shared with Badosa.
Tsitsipas clarified, saying, “Neither Paula nor I did anything illegal. “Being separated from each other was difficult, and I was also going through some difficult moments.
I would say that because I was under pressure from both my job and the tour, I didn’t manage it very well either. Combining these two seemed like a mountain, so I decided to take a break.
“After two or three weeks, I came to the realization that she is someone who has helped me a lot, and when she made an effort to talk to me about meeting, I could feel the depth of our love for one another. I came to the realization that my relationship with Paula is unlike any other relationship I have ever been in.
“I want her by my side as often as possible because I feel like she is my person and we understand each other, which gives everything I do more value. Yes, we’ve reconnected, and things are going well for us right now.
Badosa stated that Tsitsipas had told everything there was to know about their reunion during her own pre-tournament press conference on Saturday. She also hinted that the couple might want to go more low-key with their second chapter.
“Right now, the relationship is going really well,” Badosa stated. “He gave an explanation earlier. There’s nothing else I can say.
“I believe that one of the things that neither we nor I liked was how public it was; as a result, we now prefer to keep things a little bit more private.
I still recognize that it won’t be simple because we are two well-known individuals and people will inevitably inquire, but we would want to keep it more private because juggling two careers is never simple.
“I think it helps and is better if we simply try to keep it simple for both of us.”
When Badosa and Tsitsipas revealed their relationship to the public last year, both the media and fans dubbed the power couple “Tsitsidosa.”
During their highly publicized courtship, they watched each other’s matches, posed for high-end pictures taken by Radka Leitmeritz, and even started a shared Instagram account where they shared intimate moments from their relationship for a while.
