After being sighted together in Monte Carlo this past weekend, tennis players Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have fuelled rumors that they have resumed their romantic relationship. Less than two weeks after declaring they were no longer together, the two professional athletes were reportedly spotted holding hands in Monaco on Saturday.
Sportskeeda claims that the two went shopping together before boarding Tsitsipas’ Aston Martin V12 Speedster. Naturally, a video of them hanging out became popular on social media, but none of them has acknowledged that they are dating or not.
The Spanish player Badosa started dating after skipping the Italian Open in June 2023, and it wasn’t until May 5 that he announced their split on social media. “After much thought and a great deal of special time spent together, Stefanos and I have chosen to split ways peacefully,” she wrote.
“After a voyage full of love and wisdom, we have decided to go down separate roads as friends with the utmost respect for one another. We are appreciative of our family, friends, and everyone else who has contributed to our tale,” the letter said.
“We continue to wish each other nothing but the best in our endeavors as we begin this new chapter in our lives. We respectfully request your privacy during this time and appreciate your understanding.
However, the most recent circumstances have already sparked conversation among tennis fans. As @LavanyaVocalNEW noted on X, “Looks like Tennis Power Couple Tsitsidosa are back on.” Nonetheless, some claimed they should continue to enjoy their solitude. @Joanspanou asserted: “It’s their life; they don’t need permission from anybody. It appears that their love tale is not over.”
Julia, Tsitsipas’ mother, was in Rome last week, which fueled more rumors. And in spite of the apparent breakup with her son, she was spotted watching Badosa compete at the most recent Italian Open.
