According to a statement from the Miami-Dade police department, on Monday morning, they were called to an upscale hotel in Miami Beach in response to a man who had jumped from a balcony.

The statement went on to say that the matter is currently under investigation by the Homicide Bureau and that there are no allegations of foul play.

The Miami Dade police department released a statement, which was cited by Reuters, saying, “At about 12:39 AM, Bal Harbour Police and Fire Rescue were summoned to the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, 9703 Collins Avenue, in regard to a male that jumped from a balcony.”
