Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer posted pictures of their time together at the Rafa Nadal Academy on social media. The two friend-rivals met again for the first time since the 2022 Laver Cup, much to the excitement of supporters, the media, and other tennis players.
Federer and Rafael Nadal recently shared a new shot, which is actually a group portrait given that Tony Godsick and Carlos Costa, the agents of the Spanish legend and the Swiss Mestro, respectively, were present.
While Nadal will make his comeback to the court in 2024 following an injury sustained in the previous season, Federer will retire at the 2022 Laver Cup.
Rafa had to bid farewell to his dreams of winning the Australian Open at the Brisbane International due to yet another setback in his career. Supporters anticipate seeing Rafa return to action soon; the most recent speculations state that Nadal will play again at the ATP in Doha.
The meeting between Federer and Nadal again
Nadal invited Federer to stay at the Spaniard’s Academy in Manacor. During their tour of the facilities, the two tennis giants undoubtedly discussed tennis as well as what it was and will become.
After suffering an injury that kept him out of the Australian Open, Rafa was able to give his old colleague an update on his health and his upcoming projects (who knows, maybe the Spaniard could include the Swiss in some of his new future endeavors!).
“It’s a pleasure to have you here with me today, dear friend,” the Spanish champion wrote on his Instagram site after sharing some pictures of the adorable reunion. I appreciate you coming, and I hope to see you soon.”

Aryna Sabaleka advanced to the Australian Open’s fourth round.
The Belarusian defeated Amanda Anisimova 6-3, 6-2 in the Australian Open fourth round. Because of the rain, the game was played indoors after beginning outside. With a stunning serve, Sabalenka literally tore the young American to bits.
Aryna gave the following explanation during the press conference: “I’m really happy with the level of play I was able to express. I’m thrilled to see her back on the circuit because she is a really formidable opponent. After winning a Slam, I expected to feel differently, but that’s not how I feel now. The sensation is still there. You have to battle for it and always strive to play your best tennis. I had exactly the same emotions a year ago.
Although Amanda is a fierce rival, I’m thrilled to have her back on the road. She will definitely be back on top very soon, in my opinion. I hope the best for her. I’m pleased with myself for winning. I truly want to stay here till the very end, hopefully, because I adore the environment so much. Many thanks for the ambience. We have another chance to accomplish it. Many thanks, gentlemen.”
