A family of five will be no match for Patrick Mahomes.
At a press conference for the Kansas City Chiefs training camp on Tuesday, July 16, Mahomes—who is expecting his third kid with wife Brittany Mahomes—told reporters he wasn’t planning on growing his family after he and Brittany welcomed their newest member.
The Chiefs quarterback responded, “I’m done, I’ll say that,” to chuckles from the gathered reporters. “I may stop now; I said three.”
Last week, Mahomes and Brittany, both 28 years old, revealed they were expecting their third child.

On Friday, July 12, the couple announced the news with a combined Instagram post that said, “Round three, here we come.” Daughters Bronze, 19 months, and Sterling, 3, joined the couple in a cute video including her ultrasound pictures, set to Bruno Mars’s song “Count on You.”
It’s fantastic. Mahomes said to media on Tuesday, “I’ve always wanted to have small children.” “Having the opportunity to grow up in a locker room had a profound effect on my life. We currently have three children. We still go out and enjoy life, and Brittany does a fantastic job at that.
Brittany has already received recognition from Mahomes for being a “Hall of Fame mom.”
During an appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast in May, the NFL star stated, “I believe people don’t even appreciate how much she does.” “I mean, taking care of the daily affairs and creating an environment where I can concentrate on football, my craft, and other things of that nature.”
“[She’s] a Hall of Fame wife and mom, [which] makes it a lot simpler,” he continued. When your best friend is there to hang out when you get home, it makes you want to be there all the time. She encourages me to be great and has accomplished a lot of wonderful things herself.
During the NFL offseason, the Mahomes have been enjoying a vacation in Europe, where they have been spending time with their teammate Travis Kelce and his famous girlfriend Taylor Swift.
