Jannik Sinner

After his incredible victory over Grigor Dimitrov to win the Miami Open, coach Darren Cahill says it would be premature to draw any kind of comparison between Jannik Sinner and the Big Three of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer.
Sinner won 6-3, 6-1. He now has victories at the Miami Open, the Rotterdam Open, and the Australian Open this season. Due to his dominance, comparisons to the big names have been made, but Cahill was quick to clarify that he doesn’t think the Big Three era will ever occur again.Additionally, he stated that he thought it a little unfair to compare Sinner, Alcaraz, and Rune to that generation because they haven’t had much time to develop as players and aren’t even close to that level in terms of titles won.
“Well, I don’t think this generation should yet be compared to Novak, Federer, or Nadal. It’s amazing what they were able to accomplish for so long. No matter what, I don’t think we will ever see that dominance again,” Cahill retorted.
“I think it’s unfair to start comparing what Carlos, Jannik, or Holger are doing to the generation that came before them. They require time to get established. “They need to win a lot more before you start comparing them to those boys, but the level is right up there,” he remarked.
