He has won 10 ATP singles titles and is a two-time grand slam runner-up already in Melbourne and Paris. Stefanos Tsitsipas began playing tennis at the age of 3, started taking tennis lessons at the Glyfada Tennis Club in Athens at six, and at the age of told his father and coach Apostolos Tsitsipas that he wanted to become a professional tennis player. Born in a family of tennis players, mother Julia Salnikova, a former Russian tennis player and also his first coach, Stefanos turned professional in 2016, when he was only 18.
