After Zac Robinson was hired by the Atlanta Falcons to serve as their new offensive coordinator, the Los Angeles Rams have now appointed the man he replaced as their new quarterbacks coach. The Rams are hiring Dave Ragone, the former offensive coordinator of the Falcons for the previous three seasons, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Next season, he will take Robinson’s place as the quarterbacks’ coach for the Rams, working with Matthew Stafford.

The 44-year-old Ragone began his career as an NFL coach in 2011 and worked for the Titans as their wide receivers coach for two years before taking over as their quarterbacks coach in 2013. In addition, he had two stints with the Bears from 2016 to 2020 and one in Washington in 2015, where he met Sean McVay.

Ragone was cut before the season started in 2006, despite the fact that he was listed as a quarterback on the Rams’ offseason roster. Although he only appeared in two games throughout his career as a member of the Texans in 2003, he was active in the NFL from 2003 to 2007.
