Breaking news: Ohio State accuses WR of being ‘disrespectful’ after refusing to…

Ohio State

Former Ohio State recruit Jayvan Boggs, a four-star wide receiver in 2025, chose to renounce his commitment earlier this week.

He stated in an interview with On3 that he is still being pursued by many colleges, which probably prompted the move.

Boggs stated to CaneSport, “Schools are still pursuing me to the fullest because they’re telling me they still want me at their school.” “Signing day is far off, but they assure me they will continue to show me love and pursue me until the very end.”

Among the colleges that are reportedly in the running for Boggs are Miami, Florida, and UCF. He is ranked No. 189 in the nation, No. 24 among wide receivers, and No. 27 among players in the state of Florida, per 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

Boggs recorded an incredible 93 receptions for 1,493 yards and 23 receiving touchdowns in the previous season.

The Buckeyes are still the nation’s top recruiting class even without Boggs.
