Paula Badosa has announced that she has rejoined with Stefanos Tsitsipas before facing her pal Katie Boulter in the French Open’s first round. The Spaniard and the Greek confirmed their breakup earlier this month.
Tennis’s power couple, frequently dubbed ‘Tsitsidosa,’ split earlier this month. However, just weeks later, the couple resumed their romance, with Badosa revealing the news after Tsitsipas did.
Badosa stated: “He has already explained everything. It’s quite evident. The partnership is now working quite nicely. He has already explained. I have nothing more to say.
“I mean, we already have a private life. I think one of the things I didn’t like or that we didn’t enjoy was how public it was, so we want to make things a little more private now.
“I still recognize that it will be difficult since we are two public figures, and people will question us, but we want to keep it more private because combining our careers is never simple. Let’s attempt to keep things simple for both of us, because I believe it helps and is healthier.
It comes after Tsitsipas stated, “We’re together.” I’ll explain why some people create different stories about ourselves. Not that I care, but I don’t believe people should interpret it that way. Neither Paula nor I did anything wrong. Being apart was difficult for both of us, and I was also going through some difficulties.
“I would argue that I did not manage it very well either, because I was under the burden of the trip and my work. Combining these two (personal and professional life) looked like a daunting task, so I decided to take a break.
“After two or three weeks, I realized she is a woman who has been really supportive of me, and when she tried to talk to me about meeting, I felt how strong our love for each other is.
